Freedom in Christ is already available to every believer, but walking in that freedom requires a daily, deliberate choice. Many people remain spiritually bound not because freedom is out of reach, but because they have not fully committed to pursuing it. Just as enslaved people in 1865 were legally free long before they experienced that freedom in reality, many believers are declared free by Jesus yet still live as though the chains are still on. Consistency is not the real problem. The real problem is a failure to apply the same dedication we give to work and daily responsibilities to our relationship with God. Discipline, suffering, and hard seasons are not signs of God's absence. They are evidence of His investment in our growth. Holiness is not optional for those who want to see God. It is the natural response of a heart that truly loves Him.
