There is a difference between extending a helping hand and extending a saving hand. The world can offer help, but those filled with the Holy Spirit have something far greater to offer, something that reaches into eternity. True outreach is not passive. It requires real effort, genuine love, and a willingness to show up for others the way Christ showed up for us. True repentance goes beyond avoiding consequences. It is a full surrender to God, followed by new birth through water and the Spirit. As believers, we are also called to restore one another gently, keeping our minds fixed on things above rather than the distractions of the world. The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. The question worth asking is not just whether we are saved, but who we are reaching, who we have forgiven, and who we have loved enough to tell the truth to.
